Dear Santa....
Dear Santa,
I want Carl’s blue shirt. I want Carl. I want
American girl doll. Rabbit. I want Dad for

Mysteries of Age...
While sitting on the couch lightly poking Grandma's cheek, Kiernyn asks, "Grandma, (poke) why are you old?...."

Backwards Quotes?
Watching T.V. and some cheerleaders in their uniforms were on with blue lipstick and glitter everywhere....
Kierstyn: Wow, those cheerleaders were HOT.
Kiernyn: Not with that makeup on....

"A Visit to Grandma's"
Kierstyn: Grandma, why is that flag with the blue star in the window?
Grandma: Because your dad is in the service.
Kiernyn: My dad isn't in the circus! He's in the Army!

"Fawn"
Kierstyn: What kind of fairy is Fawn?
Me: A wood fairy I think.
Kiernyn: No mom, she's an animal fairy.

Kierstyn: Oh yeah, I forgot.

So...
I'm stealing this idea by way of my dear friend Lori who is always showing me new and wonderful ways to be a good mommy. To be half the mom she is would be an amazing feat for any woman. She's my "Mommy Inspiration."
The thought behind all of this is to record those things my children say or do that I find humorous, loving, or just down right cute. In doing so I hope to preserve the innocence that they have now before it washes away with one last set of tears over a doll or a broken hotwheels car. I want to keep them this way forever but until I can figure out how to do that, I'll just do this...
Sincerely,
Mommy
